Blood at the Root is a compelling play about the true events of the Cedar Six in Louisiana in 2007. We follow the story of Ralyen the sister of one of the boys arrested in the Cedar Six and how she battles with the events that occur and her role in making a difference to the narrative. 

This production was one of my favorite to design in the last couple years. I had the opportunity to do some composition and editing, collaborating with the director and choreographer on song choice and style. We focused on hiphop styles from southern Louisiana and trap music from 2006-2007
